This bass was the winner of a Silver Medal for Tone and Certificate of Workmanship, at the 2011 ISB Maker's Competition, San Fransisco, CA.

"Initially I fell in love with the clarity and volume or, as I like to describe it, "boom" across the whole register. After almost two years with my Lloyd bass, the sound continues to open up and never ceases to amaze me every time I play it. The lower register seems to have unlimited depth and projection while the top register maintains a very sweet and piercing sound for solo playing.
